At a lot of bingo spots you will find that they work to raise money for charities out there. Just like Mecca Bingo who recently held a Tea Party to help out the Marie Curie Cancer fund, it was a great day and they earned over 200 pounds for this charity.
There were slices of sponge cake and cups of tea that you could purchase for 1 pound each. Out of the pound 35 p was put to the side and would go to Marie Curie. It was a great turnout at the club and many people turned out to buy tea and cake and support this fabulous charity.
Mecca Bingo has made this their charity of the year, and will continue to hold other fund raisers in order to help them out. This foundation is one that provides nurses to those terminally ill people in the UK; the nurses will visit them in their own home. Cost per hour of this service runs around 20 pounds, and they need all the help they can get. There are many other ways that you can also help out this charity.
